Charles Taze Russell was the founder of the Watchtower and Bible Tract Society and the International Bible Students Association, today known as Jehovah’s Witnesses due to a significant change in 1931. He was an American preacher, salesman, pyramidologist, and author. He founded the Bible Students in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, also known by their opposers as “Russellites.” He amassed a small fortune in book and publication sales, as well as the infamous sales of “Miracle Wheat.” C.T.
