These Spot the Symbolism posts are brief looks at symbolism noticed during the week. They are not deep dives, as that would take too much time. 2026 Week 2 Spot the Symbolism 2

This twitter account named Plantagenet caught my eye, named after one of the old royal dynasties. It uses a cover pic of the sun from the gate at the Palace of Versailles, orginally built by Louis XIV, the sun king, before the recent replacement. Looks like symbolism of the sun, a fleur de lys – French royalty, snakes and a hand. Slightly reminiscent of Medusa. Hand is odd.

They posted about Eleanor of Castile, who has a prominent eyebrow and looks like a bruised eye.

The reason I chose this next tweet is due to the habit of showing knights with their feet resting on lions. The usual explanation is that it means courage.

Grok says that it a good footrest to show courage etc. Grok also mentions that sometimes knights are shown with feet on a dragon or snake. How strange it is then that these 3 animals are exactly the ones that appear to also represent worm holes in older cultures, see past Spot the Symbolism posts or see Wayne Herschel’s work. Might the modern day interpretation be a legacy of the cosmic dragon, snake and lion and perhaps represent the soul going through a wormhole or similar to somewhere?

This is the Sun-God tablet, and this tweet says that the wheel is Shamash’s solar disc emblem, 4 pointed star with wavy rays. Not also the 3 sun symbolism.

Maduro gave what looks like the illuminati symbol of power and recognition or the pyramid sign of the masonic grand master. It is similar to the tip of the spear sign, but more rounded. It’s difficult to tell if the “photos” of Maduro in court are real or AI reconstructions of the court artist drawings. What a confusing world we live in.
